Silver Pools is psychedelic dream-pop group from Toronto, Canada that blends lush electronics with symbolist poetry, delicate instrumentation and hypnotic rhythms. Founded by singer-songwriter/mandolinist/producer Todd Macdonald (The Winks, Norvaiza) who has also performed on productions by The New Pornographers, Main Source and Man Meets Bear. Joining Todd on stage and in the studio is visual artist Miranda Crabtree on vocals and keyboards and video director Adrienne Mclaren on bass.
Building on their 2016 debut full-length, Memoirs of an Oblong Sphere, Silver Pools independently released the more electronic influenced Bleach Cloud/Farmhouse 10-inch single in 2017 and are currently working on their sophomore album Chroma.
Silver Pools have toured throughout Canada and Europe, performed at CMW, Pop Montreal (as Norvaiza) and Invocation festivals, shared the stage with Loscil & DreamSTATE and been featured on The Strombo Show's Hip30 and Joni75 specials on CBC Music.
